      POLYGLOS, v4.0, is A FULL-FEATURED USER-FRIENDLY
WINDOWS' INTERFACE CAPABLE OF SERVING UP TO TEN
      SEARCHABLE GLOSSARIES.

The predecessor to this program, TELEGLOS.EXE, was written
to display a telecommunications glossary that was compiled
by Mr. Donald E. Kimberlin, Principal Consultant of Tele-
  communications Networks

Currently, POLYGLOS comes with two glossaries, namely,
TELEGLOS.TXT and PCTERMS.TXT (maybe more by the time
  that this goes to press).

                      *********

POLYGLOS places glossary Terms in one scrollable list,
Acronyms in another scrollable list and the Definition
of any selected Term or Acronym in a window of its own.
  Each list is alphabetized.

Keying-in the first few characters of a Term or an
Acronym will bring its Definition into view.

                      *********

Acronyms can be extracted from Terms or their
Definitions or both. Default is both.

Acronyms can be melded into the list of Terms so
that only one list needs to be searched for either
a Term or an Acronym. Default: not melded.

                      *********

Any one Term or Acronym and its Definition can be
  sent to Windows' print manager.

                      *********

Any quantity of Terms can be bookmarked for easy
review. Bookmarked Terms can be viewed together,
  along with their definitions.

Bookmarked Terms, with definitions, can be sent
as a group to Window's print manager.

Bookmarks can be saved from session to session.

                      *********

Up to four Cross-references can accompany each Term.
They are automatically assigned to Function Keys F1
  through F4.
                      *********

POLYGLOS includes a specialized editor for adding,
editing or deleting Terms, Definitions, Acronyms
  and Cross-references from any glossary.

POLYGLOS can create entire glossaries, complete with
  Acronyms and Cross-references. Cross-references can
be verified with a single keystroke.

  And more.
                      *********

There are over 850 telecommunications Terms, 360
Acronyms and 2,270 Cross-references in glossary
  TELEGLOS.TXT.

And there are more than 600 PC Terms, 230 Acronyms
  and 1,570 Cross-references in glossary PCTERMS.TXT.

The Windows interface, not the glossary, was authored
by Charles S. Gaylord of Minocqua, Wisconsin. He added
the cross-references and selected many of the acronyms.

Mr. Kimberlin's Telecommunications definitions are the
most concise that I have ever seen. I say that after
having worked for AT&T for one-third century, myself.

His glossary moved me to write this program. His
definition of an Integrated Voice/Data Terminal was
  incentive enough.
